UAE application guide

A free CV maker for your UAE job search

A useful UAE CV helps an employer understand your experience, contact you and discuss when you could start. JobFoxi lets you enter your own information and download Word and PDF files free, without sign-up or a watermark. Choose from four templates: Alpha, Beta and Gama for visual presentation, or Zigma for a simple, photo-free layout. Start with accurate details, then choose the presentation that suits the application rather than following a supposed universal UAE format.

Use contact details that reach you

Include a professional email address, a working phone number with its country code, and your actual city and country. If you live outside the UAE, say so; do not borrow a Dubai address or imply you already live there. A specific target job title also gives your application useful context.

Keep visa status and notice period optional

You can leave visa and availability fields blank. If relevant, state your actual current visa status and a realistic notice period or start date. Avoid guessing future sponsorship arrangements or promising immediate availability when you have commitments. These details help a conversation; they do not replace an employer’s checks.

Put your newest experience first

Enter roles in reverse chronological order, with the employer, location and employment dates. Describe what you actually did in short, distinct bullets. Support achievements with numbers only when you can explain their basis. If you are starting out, use genuine education, placements or projects instead of inventing work history.

Describe language ability honestly

Choose language descriptions you could comfortably discuss in an interview. An assessed CEFR level can be listed as A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 or C2. If you estimate your own level, identify it as a self-assessment rather than a certificate. Use Native where appropriate, without overstating professional writing or speaking ability.

Decide whether a photo belongs

A photo is a choice, not a universal UAE requirement. Follow the employer’s instructions and consider how you are submitting the CV. Alpha, Beta and Gama offer visual layouts; Zigma is photo-free. If you include a portrait, upload your own original photo. JobFoxi does not create an AI replacement.

Review both downloadable formats

Use the file type the employer requests. PDF helps preserve presentation; Word gives you an editable document, but fonts and spacing may change between applications. Open the downloaded file, review every page and check contact details again. The current export engine supports Latin-script text, not Arabic or other complex-script layouts.

Share only what the application needs

Leave passport numbers, identity numbers and your full home address off a general CV. Editing and export run locally in your browser, without server draft storage or cloud sync. Download a copy you control, and take care on shared devices. You supply the content manually and remain responsible for its accuracy.

Questions before you start?

Do I need a UAE phone number?

No. Give your real, reachable number with its country code. Accurate overseas contact details are more useful than a local number you cannot answer.

Can I download without paying or registering?

Yes. JobFoxi provides free Word and PDF downloads without sign-up or a watermark. Review the exported document before sending it to an employer.

Which template should I start with?

Alpha is a visual starting point for direct sharing. Choose Zigma when an application calls for a simple, single-column document, and always follow any specific employer instructions.
